Nothings seems to work!! Or is it just me?!

I have set up peer to peer network with workgroups. My
internet connection is dialup. The other group machines
and users on ech machine can see all recources on the
network file. (printers, files etc.) Ping accross LAN works
OK for all machines and users.

Remote Desktop work on all PCs.

I just can't get ICS to work. No Firewall on network
connections.

ANY help appreciated.

(I had a privious hook up with one Windows XP host and a
couple og WIN98 cliens using ICS. That worked fine. What
did I do wrong?

I have this setup at home with 2 computers and dialup internet sharing.
Did you use the Home Network Wizard? In one of the steps it asks how you
get an internet connection.
Also, on the host computer (where you make the actual dialup connection)
RIGHT click on your dialup connection in Control Panel and choose
Properties-Advanced. There should be checkmarks in the second part there,
Allow other network users to connect ......etc.

Good luck

What exactly does "can't get ICS to work" mean -- that is,
what did you do, and how did it fail ?

Possibly relevant questions (depending on what you did
and how it failed):

What do your routing tables on the clients look like ?
(eg, route -print)

Are you using DHCP ? If so, what is it handing out for
gateway (& netmask) ?
