I was hacked with illegal files, they will not delete

Dan

I discovered that someone hacked through my ftp tunnel and
after deleting the folder's contents, installed about 467
folders (most of them empty) but deep within the files are
compressed movies and games (I assume they're there
illegally). After shutting down my ftp services I
attempted to delete the files. I did manage to cut &
paste the folder & contents to my quarantine folder, but
still cannot delete (even after multiple restarts &
shutting down IIS). I continue to get "cannot delete
specified files, ensure path & name are correct"

Also, should I fwd my logs to someone since someone was
trafficing movies & games illegally?? I've got 3.47gb of
this stuff on my computer and cannot delete it. Please
help-----Dan

You can right click on the files and then click properties
and try to change them to read only and delete or you
could try and rename the file and then delete. Have fun.

If your system jas indeed been hacked. I'd recommend a complete format
and re-install, as you have no idea what else the hacker may have done.
