I run Office 2000. Just upgraded Outlook to Outlook 2002. Word is.

I run Office 2000 under XP Pro. Just also upgraded Outlook to Outlook 2002.
Wheras I was able to use Word as the editor of emails before this upgrade
which was very useful I am no longer able to do so. Why and what can I do
about it?

Because the versions of Word and Outlook must agree in order for Office
integration to work. This is by Microsoft design.

and what can I do about it?

Nothing, except go back to Outlook 2000 or update the rest of Office.
