Word 2002 and Outlook 2003

I have searched this site hoping to find a previous thread to answe
my Q, but didn't

I previously had Word 2002 on Windows 2000 with Outlook 2002.
We upgraded to XP Pro and I now have Outlook 2003 but still have Wor
2002

In Outlook under Tools/Options/Mail Format I can not select "us
Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages." The boxes ar
grayed out and I am unable to check them.

I was hoping that it would use "Word" as the editor but I am guessin
that it HAS to have Word 2003.

Just frustrating to not have auto spell check, many of the fon
enhancements anymore.

Is this correct? Someone said it could be that I am using Norto
Enterpise 9.0 and it could be blocking. I had no problems in 200
Outlook

Anyone offer guidance

Nope.

This is ridiculous.

It's been true for a long time. Outlook 2000 would use Word from Office 97,
but that was the last time it worked, so it's not a surprise.
