im trying to send and recieve emails from craigslist but i am unable to,
what steps do i need to take to set this up?

Is your Yahoo email address your only email address? If so,
I assume you normally send and receive email by going in your
browser to http://mail.yahoo.com.

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no
POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not webmail.
The official Yahoo solution is pay Yahoo to get their premium
"Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

The only other thing you can do is to copy & paste the email address
from Craigslist into your Yahoo Mail web page.
