I NEED HELP VERY BAD! PLEASE LOOK AT THIS! I get this message.

Hello,
I have a laptop and it has Windows 2000 Pro installed on
it. Well I restarted it the other day and it came up with
a screen saying this message.

NTLDR is missing
Press any key to restart

What does that mean? How do I fix it?

And is it possable for me to install Windows2000 not from
the desktop using a USB connected CD-ROM drive?

Please let me know what to do with this.
