I need help please ????????

HI there i have a problem with one my apps always changing something in the
firewall startup and i tell windows defender to permit this item but it ask
me over and over again everytime i open this app. its comcast rhapsody and
its in my firewall exceptions but can somone please tell me how i get this to
not ask me all the time its rather anoying. please help.

I think you may have to work at excluding it from the scan, as an interim
measure. Tools, Options, scroll down to Advanced options, and fill the box,
by adding the full path and file name to the Tools/Options/ do not scan box,
hit the add button, and Save.

it worked i added the whole path to the comcast rhapsody folder and it no
longer ask me to add it all the time was i suppose to add the whole folder or
just the exe get back. also will this prevent it from scanning this folder
during a spyware scan. get back thanks engel

thanks mr cat and engle what is the danger of letting this one folder not be
scaned as all i wanted it to do is not pop up evertime i open comcast
rhapsody thanks all.

Let me back-track. The so-called exclusion box applies to manual and
automatic scans, real time protection, and even WD software explorer! If you
list a folder, that folder and all sub-folders will not be scanned. If you
list the full path identified by WD in the exclusion box, then the other
files in the folder will be examined. This would lessen your exposure to
malware. I hope this answers your question. If not, please feel free to

thanks mr cat i deleted the exclusion for the whole folder and just added the
path that wd identified so i dont leave my self fully open to bad stuff.
