IE 8 & Vista Problem

My system came with Vista and Windows Defender. I never had any problems
until I down loaded IE 8. After checking online I finally uninstalled the IE
8 as per instructions on this web site and went back to IE 7. All of my
problems were solved Except one.

Defender Keeps trying to reinstall IE 8. Every day it is the same thing over
and over again. How can I Please Stop Windows Defender from trying to install
IE 8?

Your help would be appreciated.
