i can't figure out how to undo what i've done...

so, messing around on the computer this afternoon, i set up an account with
Windows Mail. One of my email accounts is now being forwarded to WM. The
problem is that I'm really not that interested in using WM, and would like my
email messages to just show up in my old inbox like they used to. I
understand that I can remove my email account from WM and the messages will
go to my old email account, but is there any way to return all of my email
messages that are now in WM to the original email account first?

The reason I don't want to use WM is that I think this means that I can only
access my email at home, which is not what I want. I really need to be able
to access my email from anywhere. I'm kinda sorry that I even messed with
WM...it seems much too complicated for me.

Any ideas?

Nothing is forwarded to WinMail. When you open WinMail it will download any
mail from the accounts you set up in it. If you don't open WinMail it won't
get anything.

If you go to the account from Tools | Accounts, you can click Properties.
On the Advanced tab you can tell it to leave a copy on the server. CAUTION:
Some servers do not allow this.

So, if I just don't ever open Windows Mail, my email will go to my old
account? If this is right, this is good news indeed.

Thanks!

Correct, but it won't return the emails that have already been downloaded
to Windows Mail.
