HP Scanjet 3300

HP is no longer supporting HP Scanjet 3300 for Vista.

Anyone know any work arounds for someone who's not super technical (I
can follow directions, but don't know all the specific terms).

Is there any hopes of Microsoft offering drivers for these type of
hardware.

My father-in-law bought a new computer and he is frustrated by this.

It looks like you need a new scanner or to switch back to XP.
M$ are unlikely to provide a driver and HP don't think its worth the effort
for it.

Try the XP drivers. If you have more than one computer in the house and they
are networked and... one has XP, place the printer on the XP computer and
share that printer. I'd be curious how Vista reacts since it would have to
d/l some kind of driver.
