hp psc 1310 disconnected!

That's the status I get when I select hp psc 1310 series->display status
from the Hewlett-Packard Digital Imaging Monitor in the system tray. I
thought it was a missing driver at first, but the wizard that ran from
Start->Control Panel->Scanners and Cameras was a scanning wizard, not an
installer. When I ran that the scanner started trying to scan pictures, so I
know it works. So why is it that HPDIM says the scanner is disconnected???

ok I got that fixed. You basically have to uninstall the USB drivers and let
windows reinstall them (with the all-in-one not connected) and then
reconnect the all-in-one and let windows reinstall the drivers for it. That
fixed the problem. There's a precise process you have to follow. If anyone
