HP CD Writer Plus and Easy CD Software

I am looking for some help for my CD burner. The device is
HP's CD Writer Plus, 9200i with Easy CD Software 3.0. The
software will not work with XP and XP is not recognizing
the CD burner. I get an error message that the software
will make XP unstable and that XP will not allow me to use
it. Is there a fix for this issue that won't require me
buying new CD burning software or burner? How about the
drivers necessary to run the CD burner?

XP works with Roxio EZCD Creator 5.0. You need to buy the upgrade or use
some other software that is XP compatible.
