How to turn off Port 80 ?

Hi
I am not using my terminal for server purposes, so to my understanding I don't have to keep Port 80 open on my machine. I am connecting to net thru Cable modem. I don't have a hardware firewall but using Zone Alarm for that matter. Can I specifically turn off port 80 on my computer? Also, in general, on Zone Alarm, I don't allow any application to act or run as server. Is that a right practice or I am wrong to do that ? Your time and help is very appreciated. Thanks in advance to all.

Use tcpview from www.sysinternals.com to found the application or service
that is opening port 80 and stop and disable that service.
