how to turn off clicking sound?

Whenever I click on a link, I get a clicking sound coming out of my
speakers.

How can I turn off this "feature?"

Start, settings, control panel, sounds. Dig around in there, you will find
it.

Change or remove the sound.
Control Panel-Sounds
"Start Navigation" and "Complete Navigation" are the relevant items.
