How to shut off no-connection warning?

I've got a laptop which can connect to the web either via the ethernet port,
or via a wireless router. When using one, I see a warning message that the
other connection is unavailable. It's a minor annoyance, but is there a way
to shut it off?

go to control panel - network connections
right click on the connection, uncheck "notify me if..." option

Hmmm...still getting message balloons from the wireless connection. Any
other ideas?

you might have separate application that manages the wireless
connection. Would have to check the settings in it...
also, malke sure that when you followed my recommendation, you
unchecked it for all connections, sometimes fire-wire also is shown in
Network connections...

Other then that - not sure

Right click wireless connection in Network Connections and choose "Disable"?
[Or click "Create Shortcut", to get a desktop shortcut to enable/disable.]
