For the past few weeks, more often than not, when I shut my laptop down at
work, I get this error message.

If I click OK, my laptop continues shutting down. If not, it goes away by
itself and my laptop continues shutting down.
Both at work and at home, when I shut down, I close all windows.
Variants are that at home, I have an external monitor plugged into the V2
port and I'm on Comcast wireless cable through a Netgear router, both
wireless and an ethernet line plugged into my laptop. At work, I'm using the
built in laptop's monitor. Connection is through Deltacom. When I start up
and for the first few hours, my laptop is on wireless and an ethernet line.
When I shut down, it's been off of the ethernet line for usually at least a
half hour.
I don't see how those variants could affect anything, but I thought I'd
better toss them out there just in case.
Also, I only get the error message after my laptop has been on for several
hours at work. It does not happen when my laptop has been on for a short
time at work and never when at home no matter how long it's been on.
Anyone know what it's doing, why it's doing that and how to correct it?
