how to set up Outlook Express Newsgroups

Hi.....a friend of mine wants to set up Outlook Express newsgroups and I
can't remember how I did it. I'm sure her setup would be a little different
than mine as I am connected via DSL line and she is connected via dial-up
and ISP (AOL) provider. Is there a way she could set up her Outlook Express
so she can post messages through there as opposed to AOL. I was once told
that posting through AOL is error-ridden. I conveyed this message to her
but I couldn't remember how to help her set it up. I would also like to
know for myself as I have a computer in my basement which is still hooked up
via dial-up. I keep it just in case i have trouble getting on-line with one
of my other computers being they are hooked up together through a router.
Thanx for any help. Patty

Yr ISP provides the news server, look on their help site for details.
Often 'news.your ISP.com' but can vary
AOL does its own thing you'd have to look on AOL help

Not all ISPs have a news server. But you can read and post
directly to msnews.microsoft.com and use your email address
(munged).
