How to remove unreadable characters in spaces about Signature

Everytime a customize my signature in Outlook 2003 I get  in the spaces
above my signature. I first thought it was because of my pictures or font
that I added. Once I removed them, I still got  I scrolled as far as I
could and these symbols are not visible in the edit pane. Please help
someone? Thanks

Try changing your Encoding settings in a message, using the View menu. Switch
to another Unicode setting.
