how to remove backdoor trojan?

Hi! Does anybody know how to remove backdoor trojan? Ive already tried Norton, it doesn't work..it still keeps on appearing..I hope someone can help. Thanks a lot!

Shut the backdoor, lock it & throw away the key.

Or, use the removal tool ... which includes removing Norton's junk.


Just to satisfy my curiosity ... what/which Backdoor Trojan are we on about?

Do as mucks has said uninstal Norton, then go to > http://www.symantec.com/enterprise/security_response/removaltools.jsp

Look for the one you need and FOLLOW the instructions carefully.

Use the F-Secure Online Scanner, Ewido and A-Squared and give your PC a good scan (in Safe Mode), then uninstall Norton and use a good AV in the future such as Kaspersky which should prevent such things getting there in the first place.
