Backdoor Trojan

Help...I have the backdoor trojan. My norton pops up with the alert, but
when i scan for viruses Norton can't find anything...I have downloaded some
software to get rid of it but all they do is scan for it and i cant afford
to pay for the program..Does anybody have any suggestions .?

If Norton gives an alert it also gives links for deleting - it doesnt just
give a warning then do nothing!
"I have downloaded some" what?

You can go to pestpatrol.com and other sites, they will scan your computer
for trojans and let you know if there is one on a port, they also have a
small free program that scan ports for many trojans.

maybe trendmicro's online virus scan will remove it for you.

Go to symantec.com > downloads > They have a list of trojan removal tools
there for free as well as worm removal tools.
