How to make text appear when mouse rolls over an inserted object?

I'm working on a map in powerpoint and I want the location of a point on the
map to appear when the mouse rolls over the location. Any ideas on how to
make that happen? Seems like I've created that before but I can't remember
how...

You should use Triggered animation

Add a hyperlink to an object at the point. (R Click > hyperlink) then choose
"place in this document" then navigate to the slide and choose "screentip"

I dont think that byou can trigger an animation with a roll over (well only
with a bit of lateral thinking!)
