how to get rid of this message at start up

I was trying to delete viruses manually and now when I boot up, I get this
message
"c:\windows\nail.exe - unable to find c:\windows.exe. Make sure you type the
name correctly, and then try again. To search.....etc"
Well, a search for the files/folders etc, find nothing. In my msconfig, I
have the following check:-msmappau, ccApp, timesquare, ctfmon, msmsgs,
DSLMON(which is the modem).
While I was trying to delete whAgent, one of the files, webhdll.dll cannot
be deleted, so I remain as oldwebhdll.dll. Is this the possible cause for the
message.
I dont think Nail.exe is up to any good, please advice, thanks

Many viruses and malware will break/disable antivirus software. This can
particularly happen if you had an old version av (before 2004) and/or
had let your virus definitions subscription lapse. Scan with either
Sysclean or Dave Lipman's Multi-AV:

http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm - how to use Dave Lipman's Multi-AV

Continue with general malware removal - There is a section on removing
Nail.exe, too:

Depending on how badly the computer is infested, you may need to run
HijackThis and post your log on one of the specialty forums (not here,
please). There is a list of HJT forums at my site, too. When all is
done, make sure you have a full-featured, current version antivirus
installed with an active subscription and the latest virus definitions.
Do a thorough scan with it in Safe Mode.
