How to disable Find Fast

I have recently installed Microsoft Office 97 on my XP operating system
(because the Office 97 package has Powerpoint and Excel). However, i keep
getting this error message everytime i start up my system: it says "find fast
has encountered an internal error and has stopped. Go to control panel to
enable it again..etc". But when i do go to the control panel i can't find it,
and i actually want to disable it...
Can anyone help??

Thanks everyone for the contributions...but unfortunately when i try to
access Find Fast through the control panel i cannot find it..i think this is
because my original operating system is XP, and the article Eric posted is
for 97 users. i definitely struffed it up by installing a 97 package, wont do
it again! But i need to disable this first!!
Any more suggestions??

Hi Eric,

1. Click Start - Run - type "msconfig" (without the quotes) then Enter
2. Click on the Startup tab.
3. Uncheck the box to the left or Microsoft Find Fast (if it exists) then click
OK, and OK again.
Click Yes when you are prompted to restart your computer
