How to 'delete' un-needed Web-Sites on I.E.6

M

MapleE.

Hi:
There are many 'un-needed' web-sites below 'Address'Bar in i.e. 6.

However, I do not want to delete all of those, because some of web-sites,
I still need for easy-access.

My question is;
How to 'delete' un-needed web-sites?

In the past, I used:
Inernet Option < General < Clear History, ...
but that deleted every web-sites I visited.

Is there a way to 'remove/delete' web-sites
I no longer use/need?

Thanks for your help in advance. .

Try this,Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Networking and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
click on General Tab or you will be on General tab by Default, click on
Settings then click on View Files and there locate the Site URL and highlight
it and Press SHIFT + DELETE and when you done close the window.
Or you can download this too from here:
http://www.ccleaner.com
Or
http://www.nasstec.co.uk/tools.html
And run it and put a check mark beside the URLs and click on delete.

Your Control Panel route made no sense here but I am using Internet
Explorer 7.

There is a way to be selective using Windows Explorer.

C:\Documents and Settings, <User Name>, Local Settings, History, Today
(or other), and the details are listed. Hold down the Ctrl key and
place the cursor on the first to be deleted and still holding down the
Ctrl key click on each to be deleted until all have be selected.
Right click and select Delete.
