How to Correct OLE error for Outlook and Word?

Office 2003 Problem
Outlook reports that it cannot use Word because Word is unavailable, not
installed or not the same version as Outlook. An OLE registration error
occurred. The program is not correctly installed. Run Setup again for the
program.

I uninstalled Office 2003 and then re-installed it and the problem remains.
I've never seen this one before. Any suggestions for correcting it would be
helpful.

It works! Thank you so much. I've been struggling with this problem for over
a month.

Sorry, but I'm not having a problem with Word. I can send and receive
messages using Word as my editor and using html. My problem occurs when I
press the Send/Receive button - that's when I get the ole error. I have
tried the windows installer cleaner and I have tried registering the
ole32.dll.

Anything else I can try?
