Outlook 2003 not recognizing Word 2003 as email editor

When I attempt to send a new email or reply to an email I get the following
error message "Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word
is unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead. An OLE registration error
occurred. The program is not correctlt installed. Run Setup again for the
program". I have uninstalled Office 2003 and re-installed it. I have run
Registry Mechanic. I have Googled this problem and that led me to delete
"Normal.dot" and restart Outlook. All to no avail. Please help!

The problem is not with Outlook, but with W\ord. First, try Start>Run,
enter "regsvr32.exe ole32.dll" (without the quotes) in the Open field, and
click OK. If tat doesn't work, try Detect and Repair from the Help menu. of
Word (or Outlook, for that matter).
