How to convert .wps files to open in WordPerfect

I recently bought a new pc with windows XP installed. I
previously had Windows 98 on my old computer. I
downloaded my files from the old pc and WordPerfect will
not my old files that are .wps Microsoft Works. Can
someone help me? I've been all over the help sections web
sites trying to find some information about this problem.
How can I open my .wps files (Microsoft Works)in
WordPerfect? Thanks, Penny

Best place to start with this is either a WordPerfect board or try the tech
support at their web site.
