How to clear 'History' and 'Temporary Internet Files' using MS-DO

I'm having problems clearing my "History"...some entries won't go away even
when using the 'clear History' button under 'Tools --> Internet Option'...and
I've tried other things, as well. When I had Windows98, I used to solve this
problem with MS-DOS by typing the following command: <deltree history> and it
worked. Now I have Windows2000 Professional but that command is not
recognized in this system. Does anyone know how to clear the 'History' with
MS-DOS for Windows 2000 Professional? Thank you very much
