how to change default search to Google

I've used Search Companion to attempt to do this by going
to Search, Change Preferences, Change Internet Search
Behavior, Classic Search, Google but it's not working.
The address bar on IE continues to search MSN. What am I
not doing correctly?

Reset Search using this fix:

Customize the settings again. This behavior is also caused by malware, running these tools might help!
