How to add remote fax printer?

I have added fax from the XP Windows disk to my laptop
which connects to the Internet via wireless connection on
my desktop computer.

When I try to use the fax it says I need to install a
modem or a remote fax printer but it doesn't say how.

Any ideas?

You need to use a standard phone line to fax. It will not work with
anything else.
