How many versions of Access have been released since Access 2002?

I am confused as to what versions of Microsoft Office have been sold and in
what order. I have Access 2002 installed on my computer; now Access 2003 is
available. I also have heard of Access XP. In what order were these
versions released? Thank you.

Access XP and Access 2002 are the same thing. They have somewhat different names depending upon who
you ask. Access XP (2002) was part of Office XP so that is why sometimes it is referred to as Access
XP. Most developers I know refer to it as Access 2002 to avoid the confusion.

Access 2003 was released in October of 2003 and is the most current Access version at the moment
until they release the next one.
