How do you mark all junk e-mail as read automatically?

I have a user who in Outlook 2003 does not want the junk mail folder to go
bold and display the number of unread mails when it has junk mail in it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

hello

just go to tools-Options in the preferences tab click on Junk E-mail and in
the Junk E-mail Options windows select "Permanently delete ........" at the
bottom

Is there any way of still collecting the messages in the folder but
effectively making them read when they arrive, so the junk mail folder does
not display how many unread mails in bold.
