How do I take off the space in editing text in a forwarded msg

How do I take off a the space when editing a forwarded message. say I am
trying to forward and document but in the original message I want to change
some stuff around. How do I remove the space that inserts its self before the
actual letter.
-EXAMPLE-
Im inserting an s after "Mr<inserting here>."
but it comes out like this
"Mrs ."
Its makes a space between the S and the Period

Make sure you are not pressing the space bar after adding the s. To remove
it, put the cursor on the space and press Delete key.
