This VERY annoying popup is driving me insane.

Has anyone found a solution other than making adustments to the registry?
My password is neither missing nor needed to continue so the registry advice
was not helpful to me.

The popup asks for server number, user name and password. Even though all three are automately filled into the spaces provided when the popup appears. However, I cannot continue until I cancel the box. It has popped up twice as I am typing this response.

Gordon, is this a joke or are you serious?
The popup occurs frequently when I am in OUtlook or Word (as it did just
now). If I am typing and not watching the screen when it appears, everything
that I am typing goes into the "Password" blank on the popup instead of the
document. I then have to close the popup and retype. This often happens
three or four times in the same sentence.

Since the typing last word "sentence" in the above paragraph, I have had to
close the popup twice.

No this is NOT a joke - you gave us NO DETAILS at all as to when and where
this "popup" occurred.....

And presumably this is connected to Email? I.E if you are just writing a
document in Word this "popup" does NOT appear?

And it is asking for the password for your ISP?

You probably congigured Outlook to check your email every minute or so. If
the password for your email account is not saved, it will popup a box to
enter the password. So this has nothing to do with Word, you are just working
in Word when Outlook is going to check your mail, and then asks for a
password.

Since it pops up multiple times after each other I guess you also use
multiple email accounts.
