How do I mark up a powerpoint slide?

I inherited a power point presentation with red mark up on the slide. I now
need to update the slides and don't have the author to ask questions of.
They are screen shots and were pasted into the Powerpoint. Can I do the
mark up in Powerpoint or should I use another tool and bring the slide
already marked up into Powerpoint?

What do you mean by "do the mark up"? I guess I'm not quite sure what you're
asking or trying to do. Can you clarify?

Are you talking about editing pictures or adding your own marks to pictures
that are already in PowerPoint? Editing pictures is best left to another
program. Adding marks can be done with the Drawing Tools. In the View menu,
choose Toolbars and Drawing. You should see a new toolbar (probably down at
the bottom of the screen) with various tools for drawing.

Can I send you an example, that would be the easiest way to show you what I
have to work with?
