How do I group families together for mailing labels?

I have made a listing of all the kids in our business, individually, some of
the kids belong to the same family - how can I make a group that will send
only one mailing label for all the kids in that family?

Do you have a field where you identify that they are all members of the same
family?

If so, then you can modify your query to only pull the first (or last) entry
for each 'family'.

Well, obviously, you need some indication in the table of the family.
How do you have that information stored? (Bear in mind that family
names may differ among members; I'm John Vinson, my wife is Karen
Strickler).

Some sort of Group By query would probably work, but please post some
more info about how you have the data structured.

If you are grouping for mailing lables, it seems to me that you'd want to
group on the address. There might be an extended family of the same name who
inhabit several unique households (though perhaps that is not so in your
particular database).
