Group? Distribution?

I have searched and can't find anything on how to do this. If it is simple
please forgive me but I am completely new to Outlook. I have 7 family members
that I send pictures of my kids to, how to get them all in one group so that
I dont have to enter their addresses individually. What do I need to creat a
group, distribution list? How do I do it?

There may be a better way, but try this (I'm using O2K7, so if you're in 2K3
I don't know if it works the same or not.)

Click on your Contacts folder to open it.
Once open, right-click over on the empty space below any shown contacts and
select "New Distribution List..." from the menu.

Here's where you get options:

Option 1:
Click the "Add New..." button at the top.
You will get a pop-up box which will allow you to create a contact object
for each family member you wish to send mail to....or....

Option 2:
If you already have contacts created for your family members, you can select
"Select Members..." which will open the global address list (GAL) pop-up.
In the GAL pop-up, change the drop-down list under the bolded Address Book
words to Outlook Address Book > Contacts sub-section. This should allow you
to select the contacts you've already created.

Once you've added everyone you want to, you name the distribution list and
then save it. You will be able to access that from your contacts to mail
your group now.

Two ways: 1) File>New>Distribution List, add your family members to that
list and use that in the recipient field of the message or 2) assign each
family member contact a category like "Family", display your contacts in the
"By Category" view, select "Family" and click Actions>New Message to
Contact.
