How do I get the "Windows Exporer" to appear from start button on task bar?

Don't know how it "disappeared"? If I go
|Start|Accessories|I don't find the Windows Explorer tab
anywhere. How Can I get it back? Thanks for your help.
In the meantime, I've managed to put a 'windows explorer'
shortcut on my desktop. Thanks again for helping me out.
I don't know what to do, nor do I want to experiment, if
you know what I mean.

P.S. It might be currently in the "rootsystem" because
this is how I was able to create a shortcut to my desktop.

Copy the shortcut you made from the desktop to
%userprofile%\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories

I guess I don't know why not. Assuming the %systemdrive% is C:\, then
navigate to;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories
Where %username% = the account you use to logon with.

Thank You! I finally did it. The symbology of %username%
and %userprofile% threw me off (still does), but you
persistent indulgence prevailed. Mil gracias.

click on the desktop icon to copy. I'm ready to paste.
Thanks again.

Glad to hear it. FYI those are systems variables. From a command prompt
set
to see what they resolve to.
