How do I find out the real available space on a write-once Multi-Session CD with deleted files ?

Assume I have a write-once CD which has a couple of sessions. In some of the sessions
files of previous burned sessions are modified or deleted. Modified or deleted files are not any longer
visible in Windows Explorer or considered in sum-of-bytes calculations.

How do I find out now the remaining available space on such a Multi-Session-CD ?

Just as a thought, I do use a freeware called Foldersizes 1.0.

It might help, its free and works fine. If it don't, then nothing lost...

There's another one I use, but can't think of it's filename in the multitude
of downloads I have. But if I stumble across it, I ll pass it along .....

Incidently, have you tried running a chkdsk on the cd from the command
prompt window (start, run, cmd). Don't know if it will work, but if it does
then it might give you a short analyses of the cd....

Use the 3rd party program that you're using to burn the Multi-Session-CD.
