Actions>Junk E-mail>Junk E-mail Options>No Automatic Filtering>OK.

Not using Outlook 2003? Then next time state your version when you ask a
question.

Click Organize on your Outlook toolbar (or click Tools>Organize) and then
select the Junk Mail filter. Disable it there. Also, empty out the
contents of Junk Senders.txt and Adult Senders.txt in
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook, a hidden folder.

I also have Outlook 2002. I have had to reinstall this program and now find
that many of my emails are going directly to JUNK E-Mail folder. I have tried
to follow Brian Tillman's instructions to 'turn off' the spam or junk filter
but do not see the same path. For example:
I Click Organize on Outlook toolbar and then select the Junk Mail filter. I
do not see a way to 'Disable' the Junk Mail Filter. I see in the 'WAYS TO
ORGANIZE JUNK MAIL' there is a 'color' the junk mail filter but no "DISABLE"
feature?
Also, I could not find any contents of Junk Senders.txt and Adult
Senders.txt in
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook in the hidden folder.

Thanks
Hugh

Outlook 2002 does not implement a Junk E-mail folder. The Junk E-mail fllter
didn't appear until Outlook 2003. If you have a Junk E-mail folder, either
your server is supplying the folder (depends on your account type) or you have
an add-in supplying the folder. Moreover, settings for the Junk E-mail
filter, when they appear, are on the Actions menu, not under Organize.
Judging from your description, I'd say you have some third-party add-in.
Consult the documentation for that add-in.

Thanks Bill:

I do not have any add-on's that would supply the folder.

I have discussed this with my server and they do not seem to understand how
the Junk Email Folder would end up on Outlook due their actions.

When I look at Junk Email under "Actions" their are only two options:
1. ADD TO JUNK SENDERS LIST
2. ADD TO ADULT CONTENT SENDERS LIST

One other thing I have done is go to the Rules Wizard where I set up some
Rules to direct the messages from Junk E-Mail folder to my IN box. This seems
to have no effect as the emails are ending up in JUNK E-Mail folder.

I am still working on this an will let you know if there is any resolution.

Thanks.

What version of Exchange are you using? If it's Exchange 2003, that may
explain the presence of the Junk E-mail folder - it's being supplied by the
server. To Outlook 2002, however, it's just another mail folder. Outlook
2002 does not have a Junk E-mail filter like Outlook 2003. In Outlook 2002,
the junk e-mail handling is a function of Organize. See this for an
explanation: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/286049
