How do I delete a favorite?

I have been invaded by 4 or 5 items that have attaqched
themselves to my favorites list, and I can't seem to
delete, cut or otherwise remove them. I delete them to
the recycle bin, and they just return. What should I do/

Download, update, and run both Adaware and SpyBot

Try to delete using Shift+Del. This will delete directly
rather sending them to the Recycle bin.

Just try this out.

If it's a favorite that a program is placing there, you
can right-click on it, select properties, General tab, and
check "hidden" on the attributes section to hide it.

Checking for Spyware/Adware as DL suggested is also a good
idea.
