How do I connect my Contacts with Outlook

I have recently purchased a new PC with Win 7 which wqorks well. Having
transferred all the files via Easy Transfer, the Outlook email does not
"ssee" trhe Contacts folder for addresses. The Contacts Properties box is
greyed out, and I cannot use the tick box to connect them. In Outlook Tools,
it shows an Outlook MAPI address book, but no valid directory.
Help!

On a daily basis you will see the answer to your question posted here. You
cannot use WET with Outlook. Your profile is corrupt. Create a new one and
use a supported method for connecting to your data file.
