How can I stop other objects automatically re-sizing when pasting.

How can I stop other objects automatically re-sizing when pasting in
pictures. That is, if a picture or text box already exists and I paste in a
second picture, the first object reduces to half it's original size and
changes location, when I want it to stay as it is. Any clues?

Go to the Tools menu and choose AutoCorrect Options. Click on the tab for
AutoFormat As You Type. Uncheck the box for "Automatic layout for
inserted objects."

Gavin,
Look at the Autocorrect options in the menu Tools. On the AttoFormat tab
remove the check next to the last checkbox and your should be allright.
While you are there consider removing the other checks as well.
