How can I initiate a text index update for my web search engine?

I use the Web Component Search facility and occasionally lose the text index.
Somertimes when I start FP it recognizes the index is out of date and asks
whether I want to update the index but I would like to initiate the update
myself. Can't find anything about it under HELP.

Any ideas?

Is your web host using Index Server? If so they need to change the settings
on the Catalog for your site.

If you are *not* using Index Service, then Tools->Recalculate Hyperlinks
will update the search index.
