How can I easily merge two favorites lists

O

owen

I have IE running both at home and at work. I'd like to
copy my extensive Favorites list from the office to my
home machine, but the Import function seems too cumbersome
for a large number of references. Any suggestions. I'm
running IE6 on both my XP home machine and W2k work
machine.

What's cumbersome?

File>Import and Export>Favorites would wipe out the contents of the current
Favorites folder anyway.

Try this: Move the contents of Favorites folder on home machine to another
folder created for this purpose. Now Import the Favorites from office. Now
Move the original contents back into Favorites. Duplicates are a strong
possibility.

Copy them to floppy (favorites are tiny files)

From Windows open:

MyComputer/C/Documents & Setting/YourUserName/Favorites/

Copy them all to floppy

take it home

same route on home machine

copy from floppy to your favorites folder
