Hover button = Headache

I'm trying to create a "Hover Button" (This is my first
time), accordind to the instruction manual, it's a very
simple thing to do, but in my case it doesn't work. It's
looks OK in "normal" mode but I just get a little white
square with a red "X" in the middle. I did all the
savings required and checked the "Linked to" field as
well. Everything looks OK, at least per ALL instructions
I've got. I also checked all the page options setting.
I'm OK there too. I'm using FP 2000 and Explorer V6.0.
The settings for compatibilities are also OK.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong...!!??
Thanks

Henri-
Hover buttons are not viewable on most out-of-box
computers, as MS can no longer dstrbiute the MS Virtual
Machine. This began when XP was released. You will need to
download Java from Sun to view your Hover Buttons, as they
are Java applets. For this reason, it is not recommended to
use applets on web pages now. I now use DHTML image swaps
to produce the effect, and the bonus is you can apply these
effects to text or images, and it works with animated gifs
also.

Hover buttons require the presence of a Java Virtual
Machine, and Microsoft no longer includes one of those
with Windows.

You can solve this problem on your PC bu downloading a JVM
from http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp
but that only fixes the problem for you, and not for your
visitors.
