I set my homepage to http://www.hotmail.com under tools, Internet options,
and click apply. Then when I open Internet Explorer, my homepage changes
every time to:

http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&clcid=0x0409&pver=6.0&ar=home

I have run Adaware, Spysweeper, Spy doctor, and Norton Antivirus and they do
not find anything . How can I correct this problem?

Can't. MS redirects the hotmail.com domain.

Sounds more like you are using some anti-malware software, like MS
Antispyware, that resets configuration settings when something (you or a
program) attempt to change them.

Thanks for your reply. My wife and I both log on to our computer separately.
I do not have any problem setting my homepage to hotmail.com. However, when
I try to set her homepage to hotmail it keeps changing back to msn. We have
the same internet explorer program. Why can I set one and not the other.

Has Ad-aware, Spysweeper and SpyDoctor been installed all along? Is
Ad-Watch installed, too?

Each one has a setting to disallow any changes to your homepage. Disable
the setting in /each/ application then try changing it.

I found both Spysweeper and Norton had homepage protection selected. I
deselected both, changed the homepage to Hotmail, and then reselected both.
Problem solved. Thanks for the help.
