Home Page Blank

I caught a virus on my PC. However, since then my home
page comes up about:blank. Resetting the home page is
lost when I close IE and it reverts back to about:blank.
Is there a registry setting that has been lost, is there
a virus still running or what?

No some program has changed your registry - search
for "about:blank" in the registry and delete.
