hijacked by undetermined search agent

When I launch explorer I get a search page and a pop-up
telling me my machine has been infected with spyware. It
actually seems to stop me downloading ad-aware etc from
sites such as download.com
The address it goes to if I click to "find out how to get
rid of ..." is "http://s13ds1.d8t.biz/pjpv.php?
aid=35&ww=spyware+remover", but I just get the same search
page as comes up in the original window again. Any ideas
please anyone?
