Hiding adresses in Distribution List

M

Matt

Our PC's are running Outlook 2003 connecting to Exchange 2003. We have a
contacts Public Folder within which we have created a number of distribution
lists. Some contacts are on multiple lists. We are having trouble sending to
the distribution list without all of the addresses appearing in the To
field. We don't want to use the bcc field, because we want recipients to
only see the Distribution List name in the To field.

Is there any way to do this without creating a dummy contact with the
distribution list name?

Any help is much appreciated.

That's what the BCC field is for. That is the only way to hide the recipient
addresses when you send to a DL.

That is, to a DL defined in the GAL, not in a public folder.
